We are an English & Turkish Horse Riding Club based in Patara. Kalkan, Southern Turkey.
If you have ever dreamed of galloping through the crests of the waves on a long sandy beach, seeing loggerhead Turtles nesting and their babies hatching, wading through rivers on horseback, riding through the endless golden sand dunes like Lawrence of Arabia, through pine forests with an abundance of wildlife including, Tortoises, Hares and Wild Boar, or by the ancient ruins including the lighthouse, ampitheatre and much more, then Patara is the place where your dreams can come true. The views are breathtaking, of unspoilt, rural Turkey.
We are lucky enough to have a family of purebred Arabian horses, Canadian Coloureds, Haflingers and English Thoroughbreds. All of which have excellent attitudes and work ethic. They are happy to go at your pace, whatever that may be.
We cater for riders and non-riders of all ages, confidence and ability.
There are breaks during all rides for refreshments and to enjoy the magnificent views.

In May 2009, Myself and my future wife Bettina, visited beautifull Kalkan for the second time.
On this lovely holiday, we made our first horseriding experiences at Patara horse riding.
It was simply fantastic to ride the horses to the beach, from where we went bathing directly in the Sea.
Janine and Alptug really made us feel at home, and our holiday wouldnt have been the same without meeting these lovely people.
Just to watch these horselovers, chasing there dream in turkey, really inspired us, and we cannot wait to visit them again, as soon as we fly to turkey the next time.
